At The Collective Fund, we believe real change happens when work is deeply rooted in local contexts – while knowledge, experience, and progress actively flow between countries and into the places where they are needed. We don’t export solutions; we co-create them where they belong. WiSE – Women in STEM & Economy is our current core focus. The initiative serves the energy sector by putting women at the center and strengthening their access, participation, and leadership in STEM fields. The Collective Fund has launched pilot initiatives in two countries. We stay curious, deepen relationships, and act when the timing, partners, and context align. We bring innovation into systems that need change. We choose bold, unconventional paths, build holistic solutions step by step, and live a culture of real collaboration.

LEARNING THROUGH PARTNERSHIP
Over the past years, we have initiated exploratory collaborations in Armenia and Madagascar. These engagements were not designed as large‑scale interventions, but as learning journeys—for us as a foundation and for our partners—to better understand how responsible, respectful international cooperation can take shape. In both contexts, we worked alongside local actors who are deeply embedded in their communities and who already hold the knowledge, trust, and expertise needed to drive change. The Collective Fund does not define solutions. Our role is to identify and connect with partners who have already developed focused, high-impact approaches in the education sector. We help strengthen these initiatives through collaboration and enable their potential to scale and reach more people, while fostering innovation and continuous reflection throughout implementation. These pilot experiences continue to inform how we think about partnership models, decision‑making, accountability, and how funding structures can either support or hinder locally led change.

A VISION STILL IN THE MAKING
We see our international engagement as evolving. Rather than expanding quickly, we are committed to developing a clear, values‑driven approach that places local leadership at the center and remains sensitive to context and long‑term impact.
Looking ahead, our vision is to:
MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER
Our experiences in Armenia and Madagascar represent early steps in understanding how we want to engage internationally, not final answers. They shape our direction, challenge our perspectives, and help us refine the role we want to play as a foundation committed to thoughtful, inclusive impact.
If you are part of a locally rooted organization, a practitioner, or a partner interested in shaping international collaboration grounded in mutual respect and shared learning, we would love to start a conversation.
