If you see a way to support our work, we would be happy to receive your application – even if there is no current opening.
BECOME A BUDDY
Our Buddy Program is designed to support a scholar with day-to-day situations, practical matters and serve as their first point of contact within the organization. Your help with questions, provide orientation, and connect them with the right team members when further expertise is needed.
WELL-BEING & PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT
We welcome psychologists, coaches, and mental health professionals who offer their expertise on a voluntary basis to support WiSE scholars. Support can be provided in individual sessions or small group settings, depending on needs and availability.
Through this engagement, professionals gain insight into diverse lived experiences and broader social contexts that can also enrich their own practice. Experience in trauma-informed work and in supporting women is especially valued.
ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES
We Sometimes support is needed beyond established programs. We welcome volunteers who want to contribute their time, skills, or experience in flexible and need‑based ways. This can include hands‑on support for events and workshops, assistance with learning formats or community activities, help with coordination and administration, or short‑term project support. Depending on your background, you might also contribute to topics such as career orientation, academic skills, language support, or integration into everyday life in Germany. Volunteering with us is collaborative and impact‑driven: you engage where your strengths meet real needs, and where even small contributions can make a meaningful difference.
Do you have an idea, perspective, or area of expertise that could strengthen our work? We actively invite new impulses.
If you see a gap, we haven’t addressed yet — or an opportunity we should explore—we would love to hear from you. Shaping impactful education work is a collective effort, and new ideas help us grow, adapt, and stay relevant.
